THE things nightmares are made of will take over the streets of East Fremantle this Halloween.

Members of inclusive dance troupe TouCan Dance will deck themselves out in their spookiest makeup and costumes for a special flash mob event on Halloween evening.

TouCan Dance co-ordinator Geeta Carroll said the performers had been practicing at Hamilton Hill’s Kelete Dance Studio for the last eight weeks and were excited to finally be able to put on the show.

“East Fremantle comes alive at Halloween! The streets are filled with the community all dressed up and it has a street festival vibe, full of young people and families,” she said.

“The last time we did a flash mob there we drew quite a crowd because people love watching a lively spontaneous event full of dancers with energy and smiles.”

Ms Carroll hinted those interested in watching the performance should be in the vicinity of George Street at 5.30pm October 31.

TouCan Dance accepts locals aged 10 and over regardless of abilities or dance experience.
