Bread in Common and Little Creatures will be joining eateries and pubs from all over Perth in the competition, with the latter also putting the durability of their beer bottles to the test by providing each competing waiter with one for their tray.

Little Creatures duty manager Justin Godber said he thought the way staff worked at Little Creatures would give them an edge in the competition.

‘I heard about the race and thought it would be a great thing to get into,’ he said.

‘With such a fast-paced environment here I think we’d do really well at it.’

The International Great Waiter Race is on April 27 at Claisebrook Cove.
