The Hammond Park resident, who works for community care organisation Amana Living, gained a nomination for the 2013 Aged and Community Services of WA Excellence in Care Awards.
Reverend Joyce, who said her work kept her young at heart, has become well-known for her strong leadership skills, empathy and sensitivity towards residents and their families during difficult times.
Winners will be announced on June 7.
