More than 5000 people are expected to head to the Coogee Beach Festival, an event that has been held every year for two decades, when it kick off at 9am ahead of five hours of action.
The City has organised rides, competitions, food, drinks and a dash for cash, with $2300 up for grabs.
Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove will play live from 10am to noon, before The Merindas take to the stage at 12.30pm.
