THE sounds of Scotland will echo around the port city during the 5th Annual Fremantle Highland Championships this weekend.
Bagpipes, drums and kilts will take over as the Fremantle Sailing Club Pipes and Drums host the championships, a show of the best pipe bands and soloists in the state.
Fremantle Sailing Club Pipes and Drums pipe major Stuart Bradford said with the event open to everyone to attend, it was the perfect way to enjoy not only the best pipe musicians in the state but to also showcase the sailing club.
