Alongside a live ABC radio broadcast from 8am, the event will see a mixture of live music, food vendors, local community groups, workshops and Fremantle celebrities.

Locals can find some weird and wacky items to take home, including upcycled furniture, restyled bikes, old school records and clothing.

Fremantle local, San Cisco drummer and event ambassador Scarlett Stevens said there was something special about buying second hand goods.

‘I’m interested in the history of the clothes I buy second hand and love that there’s a story that sellers at garage sales can tell behind every piece,’ she said.
