West Coast Eagles football banner stolen from home fence

Bryce LuffFremantle Gazette

A FOOTBALL banner that had been draped across a Hamilton Hill family’s front fence was stolen overnight.

West Coast fan Matt Turner said his family had put the banner up to show its support for the Eagles, in what is largely a Dockers stronghold.

“I was a bit concerned angry Freo supporters might deface the banner but it looks like they brought a knife and cut the ropes and ties,” he said.
