“It’s such a cruel disease, there is no funding and not much awareness for it,” she said.

“I knew if I didn’t turn this experience into something positive then I wouldn’t be able to move on from this.

“I didn’t plan on starting a business, I started making bracelets when I started grieving, it was therapeutic and it used to take my mind off it.

“One day I was looking at it and thought this is something that could possibly sell.”

She said her bracelets were made from Swarovski crystals and pearls.

“I used to make bracelets when we first started dating, he would comment on how pretty they were,” she said.

“He always loved Swarovski crystals and when we used to go shopping together we would look at the crystals because we loved it.

“Every two months when I collect $500 I donate it, so far I have donated about $5,000.

“It is very personal and unique, there is not much out there like it, I saw the gap in the market and I jumped at it.

“I just recently introduced earrings so I would like to do more of that and different types of bracelets over time.”
