Fremantle crash leaves elderly pedestrian in critical condition

MAJOR Crash investigators have called for information into a crash that has left a 93-year-old man in a critical condition.

An 80-year-old woman was driving a white 1992 Subaru Liberty station wagon northbound along Beach Street in Fremantle at midday yesterday.

As she approached the Parry Street intersection, a man started crossing the road after walking from a nearby carpark and was hit by the car.

The 93-year-old man from East Fremantle was seriously injured and remains in a critical condition in Royal Perth Hospital.

The female driver was not injured in the crash.
