COMMUTERS to Fremantle can expect disruptions in the Kings Square construction area tomorrow.

Traffic will be blocked to the public at the High and Queen streets intersection, with the roundabout being removed to allow trucks access to the site.

Work is expected to last from 7am to 5pm with Queen Street being closed from High Street to Henderson Street.

Traffic lanes will be reduced to one southbound lane on both Henderson and High streets on the approach to Queen Street.

A temporary roundabout will be painted for commuters to use from 7pm.

Residents and commuters to Fremantle will still be able to use Queensgate carpark but traffic controllers will be on site.

Buses will not be around the Kings Square area to avoid further congestion.
