A SECOND Fremantle Docker player has found himself in trouble with police.

Shane Yarran advised the club yesterday that he has been charged with aggravated common assault after an alleged incident involving a family member on the weekend.

Fremantle chief executive Steve Rosich said the 27-year-old was due to appear in court next month.

“As the matter, which Shane advised the club of yesterday, is now before the courts, the club will not comment beyond this statement until the matter is resolved,” he said.

“An allegation of this nature is treated with the utmost seriousness by the club and we will continue to monitor the legal process closely.”

Veteran defender Michael Johnson is also helping police with enquiries after allegedly being involved in an assault in Leederville early on Sunday morning.
