“The whole organisation does a wonderful job in our community and I’m excited to represent them,” he said.

“You can see young lives transform in a very short time by spending a week onboard.

“To see them come onboard shy and awkward on the first day and walk off proud of their achievements on the last day, keeps me coming back.”

Mr Graham, who has been volunteering since 2008, said the youth of today were incredibly capable and dedicated people.“It makes me feel confident about the future for Western Australia and our community,” he said.

“Every young person should definitely grab the opportunity to spend at least one week onboard.”
