SPRING has come and music is in the air.

RTRFM is hosting Fremantle’s inaugural Spring Music Festival on October 13.

The festival will have ten acts performing at Rock Rover, the South Fremantle Football clubroom and The Aardvark.

One of the performers on the day is Your Girl Pho, Phoebe Gunson , who said she thought it would be similar to the Fremantle Winter Festival.

“ I wanted to be involved when I saw the amazing lineup,” she said.

“I couldn’t resist joining to support RTR radio.”

She said she would have live vocals, drums and a saxophone in her performance.

“It will be a high energy set,” she said.

“There will be a few sing along covers of Flight Facilities and Fremantle favourite Lucy Peach.

“Bring your friends and your family and wear your dancing shoes.”

The line up at Rock Rover will include Superego (fka POW! Negro), Mt. Mountain, Doctopus, Shy Panther and Figurehead.

RTRFM’s new breakfast presenter DJ Taylah Strano will also be on the decks between bands.

Down the road at The Aardvark, acts include Your Girl Pho, Butter, Man Sandal, Zn and Bri Clark.
