Held at Pioneer Park, the market will have some of Fremantle’s best street food vendors, with everything from fish and chips, to quesadillas, falafels, coffee, cake and ice cream, as well as having a smattering of artists and traders.

Organiser Kylie Wheatley said the markets were a perfect precursor to the day’s big events, the Fremantle Festival parade and Diwali street dance party.

‘It will be a melting pot of Freo creativity with a fantastic setting in the shady and iconic Pioneer Park with the Freo Train Station on one side and the parade up ahead,’ she said.
