LOCALS will march to show their support for asylum seekers at next weekend’s Freo Safe Harbour: Refuge Rally and Walk.
The walk forms part of Refugee Week, with organisers urging locals to take part and send a clear message to local Federal Election candidates.
Fremantle Refugee Rights Action Network’s Tom Lynch, who is co-ordinating the event, said this year’s event was named in keeping with the Fremantle being declared a Refugee Welcome Zone.
