Garden gets new additions

Local mosaic artist Val McRudden helped 30 workshop attendees from the Buds "n" Bloom gardening group create the pieces, and they even received some help from Hilton Primary School students.

Buds "n" Bloom facilitator Sasha Wray said the pieces came about because the group wanted to create signs that were in keeping with their sustainable living ethos.

"I wanted round stepping stones and Val sketched out a basic design," she said.
