Garden members raise their glasses to 10 successful years

HILTON Harvest Community Garden members are celebrating 10 years of good times with a gala dinner.

Gardening superstars Costa Georgiadis and Josh Byrne will be in attendance at the dinner, which will take place at the Fremantle PCYC in Hilton on Saturday, October 19.

“It’s evolved over time and grown over time, we’ve got many projects such as the Buds ‘n’ Blooms, which is an intergenerational program,” she said.

Ms Warne said there would be a tour of the garden on the night before they headed over to the PCYC for a meal and music.

“Costa is also attending a morning tea the next day,” she said.

“There’s been about a year of planning for the event and we are chuffed to get Costa coming along, he’s an ambassador for community gardens.

“It’s not an exclusive party, everyone who has been involved or wants to be involved are invited to come along.”
