Five collection points were installed around the Fremantle CBD last month to encourage passersby to donate spare change directly to St Patrick’s.
Fremantle Mayor Brad Pettitt said the total raised to March 3 was $1247.70.
St Patrick’s chief executive Steve McDermott said every donation helped the centre continue to support Fremantle’s homeless community.
“St Pat’s is very grateful for the continued generosity of the Fremantle community,” he said.
