George Street joins in garage sale trail

Staff ReporterFremantle Gazette

There will be a little bit of everything when the event hits East Fremantle on Saturday, including a lemonade stand from Coolie Dough, students from Penny Lane Music School busking and items for sale from businesses such as Miss Lou Lou’s Tap School, The Wine Store, The George Street Merchant and Harpers Emporium.

The Garage Sale Trail is a national initiative that sees any home or business interested sign themselves up to hold a ‘garage sale’ on the same day while promoting re-use, reducing waste to landfill and creating awareness about illegal dumping.

The George Street Precinct Garage Sale is on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
