Local pharmacists like South Fremantle’s Banovich Pharmacy are reminding residents to get their annual flu vaccination, especially those who are most at risk including pregnant women, children under five or people over 65.
Fremantle MHR Josh Wilson received his jab last week and said he wanted to highlight the importance of the vaccination in protecting |locals before the peak flu season hit.
“Flu is highly contagious and can pose a serious health risk to some people,” he said.

“The flu vaccine is free for certain vulnerable groups but everyone should consider their own circumstances and guard against the impact of this virus by visiting their community pharmacy or local GP to seek advice about |receiving the flu shot.”
