Going green in big way at Fremantle Festival

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

The One Planet Fest-a-Con will have 29 sustainable events and ideas on offer for the green-minded local, including a two-day conference, exhibitions, children’s activities, workshops and an international film festival.

Fremantle Mayor Brad Pettitt said it would be the biggest sustainability event in Fremantle’s history.

“Community involvement in sustainable living is the key to change and the Fest-a-Con is the perfect platform for people to try new sustainable ideas, share experiences, challenges and business practices and see what change we can catalyse as a community,” he said.

The One Planet Fest-a-Con is in Fremantle from October 23 to November 8.
