It took two cricketers in Rod Marsh and Terry Alderman to first come up with the idea to hold a golf day fundraiser for Rocky Bay in 1981, and the event is now in its 34th year.
Last Friday saw more than 100 people take part in the fundraiser, with $25,000 expected to be raised.
Rocky Bay marketing manager Simon Page said the money would be used for its wishing tree and assistive technology to help increase independence among people living with a disability.
