The Dockers are investing $12.94 million to get their training and administration facilities up and running at the site.
Featured at their new base will be an AFL-sized oval, indoor and outdoor pools, hydrotherapy facilities, meeting rooms and space for a shop.
Hill, a Cockburn local, said the move would help the club keep pace on and off the field.
To have those kind of training facilities for us to use on a daily basis will be incredibly beneficial to players, he said.
It will help us achieve sustained success both on and off the field.
