The Australian Hotels Association WA announced early last month that up to $3 billion could be spent on hotel development in Fremantle by 2020, with up to 4000 new rooms shared between Perth and Fremantle.
Hilton Worldwide jumped on the development train last week, announcing a 150-room hotel to be built on Point Street overlooking Princess May Park.
The Fremantle hotel is one of two Hilton Worldwide is planning to build in WA, with a 241-room hotel to be built on Perth’s Riverside Drive.
