Hockey champion working behind the scenes to get criminals off the streets

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

ERIN Judd is the person working behind the scenes to help police get criminals off the street.

The University of Notre Dame law graduate is working alongside investigators and solicitors in the WA Police intelligence unit, writing applications and affidavits for warrants.

Balancing work with international hockey commitments, Ms Judd said she loved the diversity of the job.

“These applications could fall under a variety of different types of legislation, both Commonwealth and State, meaning I have constant interactions with a variety of investigatory and judiciary bodies,” she said.
