It received $1500 to go towards its supply of footballs, first-aid and strapping materials, training equipment, and coach training.
Club president Travis French said it was great to be recognised for the work they do and to be able to continue providing football to local children.
‘Acknowledgement like this is very important when you consider the club is a volunteer organisation that is contributing to the enjoyment, health, fitness and development of over 400 local children,’ he said.
