Kids get animated over arts programs

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

Held every school holidays, the courses give children and teenagers aged five to 18 a chance to try their hand at artistic ventures, including animation, sewing, mosaics, papier-mache, pottery, clay, screen-printing and urban art.

Fremantle Arts Centre director Jim Cathcart said it was great to see children returning for multiple courses over the holidays.

“Many of our students come back term after term, with kids often moving from the younger group up to the older group as they grow up,” he said.
