Lance Holt teacher Samantha Wynne has been recognised for her work at the school and was just one of five teachers from around WA to be presented with a Lead Teacher award from the Association for Independent Schools of WA at a ceremony in East Fremantle last week.
The award is part of a Federal initiative to recognise and promote quality teaching in independent schools around the country.
Ms Wynne said she loved working at the independent school because it was a ‘special place where children are at the heart of everything we do’.
‘We are encouraged as staff to continue to learn and grow, to keep up to date with educational change and innovation and to ensure that we are always offering our children and families the best educational and social experience possible,’ she said.
