A BEELIAR resident has missed out on a gong at the Disability Support Awards, held on July 2 at Crown Perth.

Life Without Barriers support worker Richelle Mondello was nominated for an Excellence in Improving Employment Opportunities Award by her client Karla Little, who she had helped to set up a dog sitting service.

She missed out on the gong after it went to Renae Hartmann from Enable Southwest.

Despite not taking home first prize, Ms Mondello was not too disappointed.
