Held as part of The Children’s Research Project, the Lance Holt students have had training in creative research techniques that they will use to interview other primary students before and after the production.

Spare Parts Puppet Theatre business manager Megan Roberts said the program had demonstrated a positive impact on the development of social skills, and that the company was excited to be working with the children in that matter.

The Little Prince is the perfect opportunity to undertake this exciting new style of research, which is proving to have incredible results for the children involved, the organisations who are commissioning the research and the teachers and staff at the schools involved,’ she said.

‘We are eager to learn these exciting ‘first hand’ views of children and to incorporating what we learn into our planning for the future.’
