Long way to top for Spearwood Hairdressing Apprentices

TWO hairdressers honing their skills at a Spearwood salon have taken top honours at the Challenger Institute of Technology’s Hair Excellence Awards.

Second-year apprentices Nini De Alwis and Sarah Kenny claimed first and second place respectively in the Ladies Long Hair Design category.

The pair has been gaining experience at Milano’s Hair Lounge at Phoenix Shopping Centre.

Owner Alessia Beccegato said she was thrilled to have the girls’ hard work recognised.
