The $15 million windfall was claimed by a couple from Perth’s southern suburbs who bought the ticket from NewsXpress Meve.
The regular players only checked the ticket on Wednesday morning, stunned when they saw a complete line of numbers.
‘I kept double checking the numbers and couldn’t stop pacing up and down the hallway,’ the woman said.

The pair plan to help out family, plus use the money to take an early retirement where they will pursue hobbies and volunteer in the community.
NewsXpress Meve manager Pat Shepley said she was in disbelief when told by store assistant Shirley Seddon they had sold the winning ticket. It was the first time a Division 1 winning ticket had been sold at the outlet.
‘I was shocked,’ she said.
‘We’ve had quite a few Division 3 winning tickets here but this has been our biggest.
‘Everything is buzzing. Everyone is pretty excited that it’s us that sold the winning ticket.’
