The finalists for the grant, which is awarded to a community group doing work with local youth, are Dismantle, Fremantle PCYC, South Metropolitan Youth Link and the WA Circus School.

Dismantle’s Lachy Ritchie said he was ‘stoked’ so many donors had helped give back to the community.

‘Impact100 represents a huge opportunity for us to upscale our social impact and we are all excited about the opportunity,’ he said.

WA Circus School business manager David Bower said a grant of this size would be important to the organisation.

‘It has given us the opportunity to plan an amazing circus program that will support disadvantaged young people in Freo and nurture future stars,’ he said.

Impact100 committee member Dylan Smith said 90 pledges of $1000 had been made with just two weeks to go, making the group ‘tantalisingly close’ to the target of 100 $1000 donations.

The winner will be announced at a dinner presentation on November 14.
