A 48-year-old man died after being struck by a car in Yangebup overnight.
Police said a grey 2014 Suzuki Swift was travelling south on Stock Road just after 7.30pm when it collided with the man near Beeliar Drive.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
The 25-year-old female driver was not injured.
Police believe the victim may have been at a Munster home where an alleged case of domestic violence had taken place about 15 minutes prior to being killed.
Police said they were called to a Shelley Way property about 7.20pm following reports of a disturbance at a home on the street.
“A family and domestic violence incident had occurred which resulted in a 22-year-old woman being injured,” a police spokeswoman said.
“She was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and Fremantle Detectives are investigating the incident.
“It is believed a person who was at the home during this incident was later a victim of a fatal crash on Stock Road in Yangebup which Major Crash officers are investigating.”
