Police said the seized items, and subsequent charges, were not related to the Claremont Firearms burglary.

It will be alleged several items found were consistent with the manufacture or modification of firearms, along with several modified handguns, an amount of ammunition and a small quantity of Methylamphetamine.

A 50-year-old man from Samson is facing a string of charges related to unlicensed manufacture of firearms or ammunition and possessing a prohibited drug.

The man was refused bail and appeared in the Fremantle Magistrates on Wednesday.

He is next due to appear in the same court on December 20.
