The time capsule was salvaged from the site when earthworks for the Playground residential development got underway in 2013.
LandCorp and Lendlease recently held a welcome event for new residents and the surrounding Coolbellup community, where the history of the site was acknowledged.
The occasion was marked by a ceremonial handover of the capsule to the Department of Education.
