With green space currently accounting for 4650sq m of the park, changes to the masterplan following community consultation has seen it increase to 4790sq m.
According to the City of Fremantle, seven written submissions were received and 23 people attended an open day in September.
Issues raised included more green space and less paved areas, concerns over pedestrian entries and the treatment of the limestone boundary wall, as well as the need to add recreational facilities like a play area, seating and tables.
