Under the My Way trial, people with disability will work with coordinators to develop plans that reflect their needs and goals.
The state trial has run for 12 months in the lower south east, while the Federal Government has run one in the Perth Hills.
The two trials will be compared in 12 months.
With about 2700 people from suburbs in Cockburn and Kwinana estimated to be eligible for support, State Disability Services Minister Helen Morton said it would be an important addition to the area.
All eyes are now on Cockburn-Kwinana, to see how the WA NDIS My Way model works in a more urban, high population area, she said.
Im looking forward to hearing about the great outcomes being achieved.
