Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

Gary Tuffin has been selected for the role for a five-year term, starting in March.

Mr Tuffin is presently chief executive at the Shire of Chittering and has worked in local government for nearly 20 years.

He will take over from Gary Clark, who has been acting in the position for the past 12 months.

East Fremantle Mayor Jim O’Neill thanked Mr Clark for his hard work over the past year and said that the appointment of Mr Tuffin was in keeping with the direction of the Town.
