New platform just the thing

The platform was built by Australand and offers people easy access to the water’s edge.

A new path from nearby parking bays and a specially designed mat allowing wheelchairs to roll over beach sand is sure to be a hit.

Beeliar resident Shogo Williams-Matsuoka said the platform was something he was keen to use in the future.

‘Fishing isn’t something I usually do,’ he said.

‘But I enjoy the view, it’s at a great location and it’s very accessible, so I was impressed.

‘The platform gives you another location to choose from, so I am very interested on trying it out.

‘It will be good to catch some fish.’
