New school sign for Fremantle Primary School

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

Designed by a parent, Bunnings donated the paint, cement, rollers and brushes needed to create and install the new sign at one of Fremantle’s oldest schools.

Fremantle Primary principal Hayden O’Mara said it was a great new look for the school just in time for 2016 applications to start coming through.

“Given our school’s central location in the City of Fremantle we identified the need to have signs that clearly indicate where we are and who we are,” he said.

“Our dedicated and supportive parent community felt it was important that we had a sign that welcomed families, both new and current, as well as visitors to our school.

“The reception to the sign has been remarkable – teachers and families that have a long history associated with Fremantle PS have commented on how vibrant and welcoming the sign is and we have even had families passing by coming in to school to have a look around and enrolling their children for next year.”
