At Fremantle PCYC, former Perth Wildcat Brad Robbins, PCYC staff and local politicians Simone McGurk, Peter Tinley, Josh Wilson and Robert Fittock took turns being locked up until they had ‘made bail’ through their fundraising efforts.

Fremantle PCYC centre manager Rebecca Slavin said the fundraiser was aimed at supporting the work of early intervention and education programs to reduce youth crimes.

‘The number of people involved with the event this is fantastic,’ she said.

‘Last year we had eight people participating as detainees in the cell and this year that number has increased to 13. This is a fantastic number.’
