MORE than 20 riders cycled almost 700km without ever leaving O’Connor.

The feat was a fundraising effort from O’Connor Play and Learn, with 23 volunteers taking turns to ride stationary bikes at Freo Fitness over 12 hours last weekend to raise money for research into childhood cancer.

The group raised $1800, with the money to be donated to The Telethon Adventurers.

O’Connor Play and Learn centre manager Candice Gertau said the fundraiser was a huge success.
