Beaconsfield's Leanne McKenzie and Jason Cotter, and Fremantle's Elena Monaco and Ralph Treasure will take part in the 2015 Steadfast Foundation Outback Air Race, which will see them take to the skies for a two-week flying challenge.
Ms Monaco said they would fly almost 8000km in the air race and that the two couples had already raised more than $5800 between them.
"Ralph and I love flying and when we found out about this opportunity to fly with like minded people and at the same time raise funds for a most worthwhile service it was a no brainer," she said.
