Chantal Morgan’s daughter’s 12-year-old dog Jasper was left with extensive wounds after being attacked by another dog.

Chantal Morgan was walking near the corner of Gwilliam Drive and North Lake Road in Bibra Lake about 3.30pm on July 14 when her daughters 12-year-old dog was set upon by a brindle coloured staffy being walked off-leash by a woman.

The woman was also walking a medium sized dog and a small black dog, but they did not join in the attack.

Ms Morgans dog Jasper was left with a puncture wound on his shoulder and suffered cuts to his throat.

I was shocked.

The woman was just looking and hurried away with all three dogs once she saw the extensive injuries, Mrs Morgan said.

Jasper should recover but Mrs Morgan said the woman should come forward and pay for vet bills, which have so far totalled $917.
