Cancer Council Western Australia's Life Now program has six weeks of yoga, 12 of exercise and an eight-week mindfulness course available for both those living with cancer and their carers.

Life Now project officer Seng Sengsourinho said research showed people benefited from exercise and therapies like yoga before, during and after their treatment.

"We provide people with access to learning new skills to cope with a diagnosis through our programs, both physically, mentally and emotionally," she said.
