Personalities serve up Christmas spirit

Staff ReporterFremantle Gazette

The lunch provides an opportunity for local business and community leaders to help St Patricks staff and volunteers to serve a Christmas lunch to people in need in the community.

Tuesday’s event saw more than 150 people given a three-course meal, giving identities like Fremantle MLA Simone McGurk, mayor Brad Pettitt and councillors Dave Hume and Robert Fittock the chance to give back to the community.

St Patricks chief executive Steve McDermott said the event, which had run for more than 40 years, gave an insight into the need that confronts many people during the holidays.
