Pirate fun at East Fremantle Yacht Club

A FREE sailing lesson, tour of Dutch ship Duyfken and other games will be offered at the Pirate Attack event at East Fremantle Yacht Club this Sunday.

EFYC general manager Michael Brunswick said the Pirate Attack event is open to the public to enjoy tours of the Duyfken and a sailing lesson from 9am – 1pm.

“We are offering the tours for free, usually there would be a cost involved,” he said.

“This is the second year we have held the event, last year was a fantastic success so we have decided to hold it again this year to encourage families to come along, enjoy a morning on the Swan River.”

Pirate Attack starts at 9am on Sunday, January 13 but will continue the theme with Pirate Treasure Hunt sailing lessons from January 14 – 18.

A child and accompanying parent would be able to learn four hours of sailing over two days for $80.
