JANDAKOT Primary School has used the area’s aviation history as inspiration for freshening up its undercover area.
Artwork of 14 different aircraft is featured, having been painted by members of the school community.
Deputy principal Chris Warren said the paintings were a connection between the school and the history of the area.
“The school itself has a unique design which has several buildings shaped like hangars,” he said.
“These aircraft represent the most popular types of aircraft which fly out of Jandakot Airport.”
