HALFWAY through the school holidays many parents might be tearing their hair out, but never fear, there are still plenty of Fremantle activities to keep those active, arty and sometimes abominable children entertained.
With more than 30 creative courses ranging from animation to pottery to drawing, printing and street art, the Fremantle Arts Centre has holiday courses running almost daily until January 20, while Inkling Art Space also has a number of fun artistic options.
Nautical-themed fun and games will take over the Maritime Museum and Shipwreck Galleries while the Circus WA School Holiday Program, which finishes this week, will have them flipping, jumping, juggling and swinging.
For outdoor fun in the summer sun, the Esplanade Youth Plaza will host a number of skateboarding, parkour, BMX and scooter workshops.
With holiday workshops and events also held at the Fremantle City Library, Fremantle Prison, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and the Fremantle Leisure Centre, there is still something fun to do for all local children before school starts again in February.
